Exploring Technology Readiness Levels of Irish Small Businesses

We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new white paper titled "Exploring Technology Readiness Levels of Irish Small Businesses", which highlights the powerful intersection of academic research and real-world impact. During this launch event, Prof. Shirish from LITEM along with a practioner from Ireland, Mr. John O' Shanahan from Lean BPI had the opportunity to share insights from their research papers and other publications with the Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital Transformation and Company Regulation of Ireland, Mr. Dara Calleary and with Mr. John Magee from the Local Enterprise Office Mayo.

This comprehensive research report empirically evaluates the theoretical concepts of digital archetypes developed from a qualitative study initially published at EJIS and empirically demonstrates the link between each of the digital transformation archetypes and the digital assimilation levels of microbusinesses in Ireland. Thus offering another way to measure technology readiness levels.

By informing the digital transformation policy landscape, the findings from this research report can help shape initiatives to enhance technology adoption and resilience among microbusinesses, ultimately fostering growth and innovation in this vital sector of the economy.
